- Boom Trucks – Compact and maneuverable, boom trucks are perfect for completing tree removal jobs in residential neighborhoods and urban areas with little space to work in. However, boom trucks don’t have the same lifting capacity as some larger cranes and may not work for removing bigger trees.
- Spider Cranes – Like boom trucks, spider cranes can easily fit in compact spaces and, unlike boom trucks, they can be operated safely on rough terrain. On the other hand, spider cranes aren’t as maneuverable as boom trucks and may have more limited lifting capacities.
